On deck [4 of 4] -- Foredeck
|View aft from the foredeck||
Looking aftAnyone familiar with Rose Rambler in earlier days will notice one or two minor changes.
Mast and spars, once painted white for better protection in hotter climes, have been stripped and varnished.
The cascover-covered deckworks, variously painted blue and later green, have reverted to white, and the decks themselves are now pale grey.
Non-slip panels have replaced the worn and weathered wooden strips around the foot of the mast.
Gone also is the huge, immensely effective sprayhood, now replaced by one of more modest proportions, the gain from which is much easier access to the foredeck.
